We are very excited about several events lined up at the fair.
Picture Books Alive! will take place at 4.00-4.30pm, 20th October at Malaysia Stand in Hall 4.0 / Booth B74. This presentation will demonstrate how original illustrations in picture books are converted into mini movies, the result of an exciting collaboration between Oyez!Books, Malaysia and Moker Corp, Taiwan.

To summarise, activities will include (but not limited to):
1. Malaysian children’s books in Bahasa and English will be on sale with special promotions;
2. Storytelling sessions for children (timetable for activities to be announced soon);
3. Art and craft activities for children (timetable for activities to be announced soon)
4. Children’s storytelling competition (ages 5 to 8);
5. Children’s writing competition (ages 9 to 12).
The deadline for registration and submission for both Storytelling and Writing Competition is on Monday, 23 May 2016.

Pustaka Bookaroo Festival of Children’s Literature is back! Running from 16-17 April at Pustaka Negeri Sarawak in Kuching, it promises to be an exciting affair with a lineup of international and local authors, illustrators, storytellers and more. With the theme Bringing Children and Books Together, the weekend will be packed with storytelling, crafts, doodling, poetry and art workshops for children from 4 up to 12 years of age. This event is truly something for parents, children, teachers, educators and just about anyone who is interested in promoting books and reading for children, to look forward to.
Speakers at the event come from far and wide such as India, Singapore, and Australia. From Malaysia, five Oyez!Books authors/ illustrators will also be participating at the event! They are :
