Featured Author: Maslina Yusoff

Maslina Yusoff graduated from the school of Art and Design, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Malaysia, majoring in Graphics. After graduation, she joined a Japanese advertising agency and was subsequently promoted to the position of Art Director. In 2000 she left the agency to start an advertising company with her husband. She has always wanted to write and illustrate her own children's picture books. The result is Mila's World, about a little girl with big curly hair - there are now six books in the series.

Maslina's inspiration for Mila comes from her own daughter when she was a little girl. She too had curly hair like Mila - or is it the other way round?
