Oyez!Books Goes to Bologna Book Fair 2016

Oyez!Books will be exhibiting at the upcoming prestigious Bologna Children's Book Fair 2016! Running from 4-7 April this year, the Bologna Children's Book Fair is an international trade event that brings together children's book publishing industry players and professionals from all over the world.

We will be showcasing our extensive catalogue which consist of exciting new titles and award-winning books by authors and illustrators from Malaysia and South East Asia. Some of our books have been successfully translated into German, Chinese, Arabic, and Korean, in both print and digital format.

Oyez!Books New Titles for First Quarter 2016!

It brings us great pleasure to invite you to Oyez!Books launch of nine brand new titles for first quarter 2016! We are introducing another wonderful variety of books, ranging from picture books in English AND Bahasa Malaysia, a chapter book series first published in Australia that brings together a young boy with a 700-year old ghost, and art and colouring books with all sorts of monsters!

Join us on Thursday, 24th March from 2.00-4.00pm at Silverfish Books to meet and mingle with our authors and illustrators, and browse our new books.

Oyez!Books New Titles First Quarter 2016 - Book Launch

Here's the overview of the books for the launch :

Frog Loses His Memory is by A.H. Benjamin, a prolific children's book author from United Kingdom who has published more than 30 children's books with renowned publishers such as Andersen Press, Little Tiger Press and more. His work has been sold worldwide and translated into many languages. This lovely picture book with a heartfelt story on friendship is illustrated by Evi Shelvia and marks his first children's book published by Oyez!Books.
Do Dinosaurs Share? is by Feng Feng Hutchins, an established author who was born and raised in Sarawak but now calls Hawaii home. Feng Feng has won awards such as the Ka Palapala Po‘okela Award for Children's Literature for her work. Young and upcoming illustrator, Fengyi Lai beautifully illustrates this cute dinosaur story about learning to share.

Three brand new Bahasa Malaysia picture books by veteran author Mahaya Mohd. Mahaya has published many books ranging from picture books and anthologies to short stories and novels, and have won several awards for her work.
