Bring the family and kids for an exciting afternoon of stories this year-end holidays! From 3.00-4.00pm, Sunday, 11 December at Silverfish Books, Bangsar Village 2, there will be a double treat as Heidi Shamsuddin and Lim Lay Koon take turns to share two very different but equally entertaining tales. From 3.00-3.30pm, Heidi takes you on another adventure with Joe, Emil and Hanna, the time-travelling trio from her popular The Door Under the Stairs series. In the latest book, The Case of The House At No. 74, the three children meet the courageous Sybil Kathigasu, the only Malayan woman to receive the George Medal for bravery. From 3.30-4.00pm, Lay Koon will regale you with the story of Pip, the young pangolin who just couldn't roll into a ball! Desperate for a cure, Pip's mother takes him to see a porcupine, a snake and a monkey. Find out what happens in this humorous story from Lay Koon's new picture book, Pip's Peculiar Problem.
