Harmony with Nature Photo Contest 2017

In 2009, the United Nations proclaimed 22 April as International Mother Earth Day and "acknowledged that the Earth and its ecosystems are our common home, and expressed their conviction that it is necessary to promote Harmony with Nature in order to achieve a just balance among the economic, social and environmental needs of present and future generations."

To celebrate International Mother Earth Day this year, Oyez!Books is organizing the Harmony With Nature Photo Contest on Facebook from 22 April to 14 May.  All you have to do is upload your best photo that reflects the theme "Harmony with Nature" together with a short description and the location where the photo was taken. The location must be a place in Malaysia. Then get the most number of votes you can and the Top 3 will each win a special Wildlife book set worth RM150.

Contest details as follows :

1. This Facebook contest runs from 22 April 2017 to 14 May 2017.
2. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this contest.
3. To enter, visit Mother Earth Day Photo Contest 2017 at http://tab.fo/harmonywithnature : 
4. Upload an original photo or image based on the theme – Harmony with Nature. Photo or image must be in a location within Malaysia. Files should be in .jpg format and not larger than 500KB.
5. Enter a short description of the photo or image and the location it was taken (maximum of 150 characters).
6. Tick the checkbox to accept the terms and conditions of the contest and click Enter.
7. The photo or image will be displayed in the contest photo gallery and will be open to public for voting till the contest ends.
8. The Top 3 Winners will be chosen as a result of a vote conducted via this application as measured and recorded by Tabfoundry's software.
9. Top 3 Winners will each receive a special Wildlife book set worth more than RM150.  No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered and prizes are not transferable.
10. Winners will be notified within 7 days after the closing date. If any winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of notification, Oyez!Books reserves the right to withdraw the prize or pick a replacement winner.
11. No responsibility will be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. Oyez!Books reserves the right to remove any entry deemed inappropriate.
12. Oyez!Books reserves the right to cancel or amend the contest and these terms and conditions without prior notice. Oyez!Books decision in respect of all matters to do with the contest is final.
13. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
14. The Winners’ names and contest entries may be used for promotional purposes and publicity material on Oyez!Books website and social media channels. Personal data will not be disclosed to a third party without the participant’s prior consent.
