Oyez!Books New Titles for January 2016

We are kicking the year off with a huge bang launching up to twelve brand new titles and re-introducing an award-winning favourite from Yusof Gajah! On Wednesday, 27th January, from 2.00 - 4.00pm at Silverfish Books, join us for an afternoon of visual and literary delight as our authors talk about the latest books.  

Here's what you can expect at the launch :

• Two new picture books from Yusof Gajah featuring his iconic and popular elephants - My Haircut and My Red Pencil. Yusof's The Real Elephant, a Noma Concours Grand Prize Award winner, will also be re-launched in a brand new big picture book format.

• A set of three colouring books from artist and author Susanna Goho-Quek - Teddy Bear Tales, Happy Days and Underwater World - all packed with gorgeous details for the colouring enthusiasts​

• Legendary Princesses of Malaysia Colouring Book from Colourart series creator, Emila Yusof.  Emila will also be launching her first book of poems, Fleeting Moments - Illustrated Haiku Poems.

• The Case of The Football Champion, the third exciting adventure from Heidi Shamsuddin's chapter book series The Door Under The Stairs about three children who can travel back in time.
• Mohd Khairul Azman Ismail, second prize winner of YGL-Oyez Picture Book Award 2015, will be releasing his winning title, Where is Owly? together with a second book, My Owl Family Tree.​

• Artist Chooi Ling Keiong tells you all about Chinese auspicious symbols in her illustrated book, Health, Wealth & Happiness - the perfect guide for the coming lunar New Year.
• What do you call a group of frogs?  Lim Lay Koon will share the answer in her new picture book, Menagerie - Fun with Animal Groups.
